7. Final scaling of M matrix
After the iteration process has stabilized, the M matrix is internally consistent
- The relative magnitudes of the EX, EY, EZ, & EQ components are correct relative to each other
For the E values obtained with the M matrix to represent the actual external E, we must compare them to a known field value (i.e., find c):
