This CD-ROM provides, in compact form, the last five algorthm R&D summary reports (most recent is 1999) by Systems Technology Associates (STA) for the WSR-88D Operational Support Facility. Each report is a compilation of work related to the WSR-88D meteorological algorithms and related technical needs during the preceding year. Information is gleaned from the published literature and by directly canvassing members of the R&D and operations communities. We have added to this CD, mathematical and functional descriptions of algorithms currently residing in the WSR-88D system.
