When plotting pressure
level data, such as output from REGRID, LITTLE_R/RAWINS
and INTERPB, the second and third lines of the g_plots.tbl
(in bold above) are used to select pressure levels to
plot.
There are many fields that can be plotted with pressure
level data, and many of those are for diagnostic purpose.
But at least a user should check the output with a minimum
set of fields as highlighted above in bold.
When plotting either a sounding (SKEWTXY or SKEWTLL)
or a cross-section with pressure-level data, one must
plot surface pressure field, as this field must be diagnosed
from the input data. |
