How
to obtain data from the NCAR Mass Store system to run LITTLE_R
with?
You need
to have an NCAR account to access most of these datasets.
You
can either obtain data from NCAR by applying for an NCAR
computing account. If you have an NCAR computing account,
you will be able to access all these datasets without additional
charge.
OR
you can purchasing data from the Data
Support Section of NCAR's Scientific Computing Division.
If you have an NCAR account,
you can use the "fetch" script to download data
automatically.
This script isavailable in the directory:
~mesouser/MM5V3/Util
fetch-little_r-data.csh
Download ADP (ON29) format data and convert to little_r
format
Once
you have the ADP data on your machine, you can use the script
adp_to_little-r.csh (inside that latest
FETCH
TAR file - after Jan 21, 2004) to convert it to LITTLE_R
input format
