OBSOLETE: DISREGARD THIS ENTRY

Code UPDATE: Pre-release MM5v3.2 for MPP Since the release of MM5v3.1 at the end of July 1999, there have been a number of fixes to the code, some of which are documented elsewhere in the helpdesk . The most recent of these pertains to the IBM SP and the need to apply the -qstrict option when compiling the explicit moisture routines (involved adding a new, IBM specific makefile for the MPP code: MPP/RSL/Makefile.RSL.sp2).

Rather than issue a patch file, I have placed a mid-release version of the code in its entirety, that reflects the most recent version in the CVS repository at NCAR as of September 7, 1999. If this is updated again, another note will be added to the helpdesk.

The tar file, which contains the basic MM5 source and the MPP subtree, is available at:

Note that it is not possible to list that CHAMMP directory. The tar file is approximately 1.3 MB, and it should be used in its entirety. In addition to other fixes, the version in this tar file incorporates the fixes noted in helpdesk notes: 1999 08 13 and 1999 08 10 .
