MMM Real-Time Forecasts

Overview
Below you will see real-time forecasts produced with the Model for Prediction Across Scales-Atmosphere (MPAS-A) . These forecasts use a variable-resolution mesh with 3-km cell spacing over the Atlantic and 15-km cell spacing elsewhere. Physics packages include: experimental scale-aware Tiedtke cumulus scheme, Thompson microphysics scheme, MYNN planetary boundary layer and surface layer schemes, and RRTMG radiation. Initial conditions are kindly provided by ECMWF.

Use the "Plot Options" dropdowns below to select which date, variable, and domain you would like to see shown in the "Plot Viewer" area. You can use the "All Plots" section to quickly update the main plot based on which date and domain has been selected.
