The time period for this simulation is 00Z 7 Nov to 00Z 8 Nov 2002 known herethereto as the 'period'.

Control files automatically copied at run time to INPUT:
1. INPUT-mcel
2. INPUT-nonmcel

Several input files are ready for use by SWAN to run within MCEL at the start of the period:
1. hotfile-Gulf_Trough - hot start or initial conditions to begin the period
2. bc-spectra-Gulf_Trough - nest boundary condition spectra for the period
3. in-winds - COAMPS winds at 10 metres from mid October through November
4. in-depths - depths covering all domains
5. in-wlevels - file based input for water levels, but only as a place holder
6. in-currents - file based input for currents U- and V-components, but only as a place holder

Two inputs come from ADCIRC via MCEL:
1. depth averaged currents U- and V-components
2. water levels w/r mllw

SWAN writes these outputs into MCEL for the consumption of other models:
1. significant wave height
2. peak wave period
3. mean wave direction
4. wave stress U- and V-components
5. other parameters are included for shins and grins

Notes
- The INPUT file can be changed whether or not to read/write from/to MCEL
- See out-* files to compare results
- ndbc_42007_20021107.txt is included for comparison
