WRF Model Update 2.1.2
              WRF model tar file has been updated to Version 
                2.1.2 on January 30, 2006. 
              The SI and V2.1 real/ideal output are 
                OK to use with the new wrf.exe.
              Also see 'Known 
                Problems' in this release.
              In this new tar file, the following bug fixes 
                and updates are provided. 
              Physics:
              PBL:
              - YSU: minor correction to entrainment and division 
                by small number (see 'Known Problems and Fixes' for further correction).
                - MYJ: Correct the computation of mixing layer depth to eliminate 
                2-delta-t oscillation in time that occurred in some cases. No 
                other noticable impact on forecast results.
              Surface layer physics:
              - MYJSFC: Move ZSLT out of iteration loop for 
                sfc exchange over land,
                initialization.
              Microphysics
              - Bug fixes for Thompson scheme: correction 
                for snow/rain accretion process (posted since Nov 21, 2005)
              Cumulus schemes:
              - Cloud ice and snow tendencies from KF/GD are 
                passed back to solver (posted since Nov 16, 2005).
                - GD: correction for latent heat release constant, affect moist 
                static profile computation.
                - BMJ: Fix computations of saturation sp. hum. for very cold T.
              Atmospheric radiation:
              - GSFC sw radiation: improved pressure input 
                for robustness.
                - GFDL radiation: stop when combined with non-Ferrier scheme.
              Dynamics/Diffusion/Filter Options:
              - cfl prints updated and reduced - print only 
                when the model becomes unstable.
                - Fix for km_opt = 3: correction for a factor in some terms.
                - Correction for diagnosing w when using hydrostatic option without 
                using a microphysics scheme. 
              Nesting/Restart:
              - Program real handles nest in this 
                version. Only one real job is run for all nests that 
                start at the coarse domain initial time. (Thanks to Liantang 
                Deng of CMA, China for providing the modification.)
                - Restart with SST update option from a single file is fixed.
              Software:
                
                - RSL_LITE: modified to improve message passing performance and 
                scaling on larger number of processors. Periodic boundaries in 
                X-dimension now also supported, so the only thing left that RSL 
                supports that RSL_LITE does not
                is parallel transposes.
                - ESMF time manager: upgraded and fixed to deal with long runs, 
                such as those for regional climate simulations. In addition, a 
                unit test suite has been added and code has been refactored to 
                improve robustness, maintainability, and extensibility.
                - io_quilting: allow multiple output server groups.
                - auxiliary history output file fix.
                - Check time info when inputting all files. The programs will 
                stop when time information in the input file does not match those 
                specified in the namelist.
                - Grib 1: correct latitute value at south pole.
