WRF Var Update 3.0
The WRF-Var variational data assimilation system
has been updated to Version 3.0 on April 4, 2008.
In this release, WRF-Var is merged with the latest WRF code directory structure. They now share the same build mechanism. The update_bc and obsproc codes are part of the tar file. For compile and run instructions, please refer to the updated User's Guide.
Note, the released Var code is re-tared to avoid some confusion at the compile stage. The top directory is now named WRFDA.
