How to obtain data from the NCAR Mass Store system to run REGRID with?

  • You need to have an NCAR account to access most of these datasets.
    • You can either obtain data from NCAR by applying for an NCAR computing account. If you have an NCAR computing account, you will be able to access all these datasets without additional charge.
    • OR you can purchasing data from the Data Support Section of NCAR's Scientific Computing Division.
       
  • Some datasets (marked * below) have the last years' data available on-line (free of charge and available without an NCAR account).
     
  • Some datasets (marked * below) contain sufficient data to run MM5 LSM option.

If you have an NCAR account, you can use the "get" scripts to download data automatically.

These scripts are available in the directory:
