MPAS Atmosphere Latest Release

MPAS version 8.2.2 was released 20 September 2024. A summary of the notable new features in this release may be found through the GitHub release page for MPAS v8.2.2.

WRF & MPAS-A Annual Users Workshop

The Mesoscale and Microscale Meteorology Laboratory of NSF NCAR holds its joint WRF and MPAS Users’ Workshop each summer (typically in June) at the NSF NCAR Campus Boulder, Colorado, as well as virtually (online).

The primary objectives for the Users’ Workshop are to provide updates for the WRF and MPAS modeling systems, to discuss model development and issues, and to present evaluations and applications of the two models.

The 2025 Workshop will be held 3-6 June. This page will be updated with additional information as it becomes available.
