MM5 Pre-Processing Programs Version 3 : Release emails
to users

Dear MM5 users,
This email announces the release 3-2 of Version 3 preprocessing
programs: TERRAIN, REGRID, RAWINS, INTERPF and NESTDOWN. Program
LITTLE_R has no change since 3-1 release.
All source code tar files are updated on anonymous ftp site, NCAR's
MSS, and Cray-accessible disk since Sept 27, 1999.

The highlight of changes in each program is described in the CHANGES
file in each of the program tar file. They are also poste on the

For those of you who have started to use V3 codes, we recommend
that you update to 3-2 release. If you are using LSM option in MM5
and you plan on running one-way nest later, be sure that you get
the newest Nestdown program.
For those of you who are thinking of using V3, please read the 'Introduction
to V3' Web page before you start.
Again, we would like to thank those who have provided us valuable
feedback on the new V3 programs. The feedback is very important
in making the new system robust and error-free. Since some programs
are still under constant development, be sure to always download
the latest program tar file.
